Established in Manchester in 1937, Baracuta is renowned for creating the original G9 Harrington Jacket. Designed with practical features such as the umbrella back yoke and ribbed cuffs, the G9 gained popularity among golfers and later became a staple in various subcultures, including Mods and Ivy League enthusiasts. Its distinctive Fraser tartan lining and association with figures like Steve McQueen and Elvis Presley have cemented its status as a symbol of British style.

The G18 Twill is made from 100% cotton twill, a fabric long valued for its strength, resilience, and subtle texture. Twill is woven in a distinctive diagonal pattern, which gives the material a natural durability and a soft drape that moves with you. This weave also makes the cotton more resistant to creasing and wear, allowing the jacket to retain its shape over time. With a slightly heavier weight than regular cotton, twill provides structure without feeling stiff, while developing a gentle patina with age.
