Details

A heavy Derby shoe that bears the brogue detailing synonymous with true country shoes. The Bourton is a piece of Northampton shoemaking history, and today they are the go-to shoe for men all around the world.

A full bellows tongue is folded and attached to the shoe to provide a watertight seal, with the storm welt providing an additional watertight seal between the shoe's upper and sole. The profile of a Bourton is characteristically strong; with a solid sole unit, leather linings and the option of a traditional leather or Dainite sole for practicality.

Acorn Antique is the classic colour synonymous with the Tricker's shoes and boots - a rich tan unique to Tricker's that is one of the Tricker's best sellers.

Our Acorn Antique colourway works as well today as it has over the decades - it matches as well with a deep indigo denim as it does with Tweed Breeks and long socks.

This Bourton is made from calf leather. Calf leather is finer grained, and lighter in weight than the hide of older cattle, this means that it is also more supple. It is very durable in comparison to its thickness.

We advise using Neutral Polish to help maintain a pair of shoes in Acorn Antique. If you would like to add some more colour to your Acorn Antique leather then we advise using Fawn Polish. If you have a natural welt on your footwear then please be careful when using Fawn Polish as using Fawn polish on a natural welt then it will stain.

The size (length fitting) of Tricker’s footwear made on this last (4444) is larger than a regular UK size by half a size. If you are unsure of your UK size, use the Tricker's size guide to convert your known size to a UK size. Then take off half a size.

So if you normally take a UK size 8 (equivalent to US size 9, Japan size 27 and EU size 42), we recommend you order a size 7½ and so on.
