Details
The Snæfell jacket manages to include performance and comfort in perfect harmony with heritage. This versatile shell jacket is designed for outdoor life in a wide range of weather conditions. Whether it is pouring rain sideways or skiing above the clouds, The Snæfell jacket is ready for any challenge. This new iteration of the Snæfell jacket is made from Polartec® Power Shield®, a fabric that is partially made from plant-based and is more waterproof than the previous model. Now withstanding up to 20.000mm of water and windproof with exceptional breathability and softness. Snæfell is made with durable plain weave recycled nylon face and recycled single knit backer, providing weft stretch and excellent breathability.
The fabric is PFC-free, has DWR, is blue-signed and is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, making sure that it has been produced in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible way. Zippers and accessories are made from recycled materials to further reduce the environmental impact of the jacket. The jacket is backpack-compatible with articulated fit for maximum mobility and is well-suited for light to midrange layering. Additionally, the shell hood is fully adjustable with a built-in visor and hidden cord lock system.
