The elasticated Chelsea boot dates back to 1851, but it wasn’t until the 70s that we gave it a rugged DM’s overhaul. Built from tough, Smooth leather on DM's signature grooved AirWair sole, the 2976 Chelsea boot is an agricultural silhouette transformed into a subcultural classic. The instantly recognisable shape speaks for itself in this monochromatic rework, built from black Smooth leather and finished with black welt stitching and a tonal AirWair heel loop.

- Hardwearing and famously tough, the Smooth leather can be polished to shine or scuffed-up. It’s up to you. Clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish

Material
Smooth leather is as classic as it gets: with us from the beginning, it is famously tough and can be buffed up to a high shine or artfully scuffed up.
Care Instructions
Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply a neutral or correct coloured wax based shoe polish. Buff with a Dr. Martens Shoe Brush to restore shine as desired.
